Description


The Export Sales Manager is responsible for the Russell Stover U.S. export channel in partnership with our strategic broker and distributor partners around the globe. This position has full P&L ownership. This position generates revenue, manages expenses, and achieves monthly and annual revenue & profit goals. The Export Sales Manager will need to aggressively increase product distribution through current product portfolio recommendations and historical sales analysis. The Export Sales Manager will own the product portfolio identification and optimization, sales material development and dissemination, product forecasting, order management, and customer shipments.


Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations

  • Focus countries include Mexico, Latin America, Australia/New Zealand, and Puerto Rico
  • Obtain/Grow distribution in Mexico – Customer priorities include Walmart, Sam’s Club, Costco, and HEB
  • Manage the inter-company transfer process with Canada (non-export)
  • Knowledge of international sales with specific experience in export
  • International Broker and Distributor management
  • Ability to negotiate international agreements that align with RSC business goals and strategies, perform analysis, and maintain contracts
  • Maintain strong partnerships with our brokers/distributors to gain in-depth understanding of retailer objectives and strategies


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree along with 5 years of sales experience
  • Knowledge of budgeting and operational planning
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Up to 25% domestic travel with limited to no international travel
  • Able to work effectively within a fast-changing environment and adapt to tight deadlines
  • Team player with a positive attitude
 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in export or international sales
  • Bi-lingual preferred (English, Spanish), not required
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to think strategically and act tactically, with a strong bias for action to achieve results
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to develop and present conclusions and recommendations to senior management
  • High level of professionalism, energy, and sense of urgency to “make things happen”
