Title:Scheduling Supervisor
Location:Corsicana, TX

Position Summary:   This position manages the plant scheduling team to ensure completion of a constrained production plan, and monitors MRP to avoid potential production constraints.

Reports To: Sr. Scheduling Manager



  • Rapidly react to planning changes and have a backup plan daily and weekly. 
  • Balance long runs with capacity and demand.
  • Aggressive in verifying supplies are on hand and alleviate production constraints. 
  • Rapidly learn multiple constraints in production departments that are not systematized.
  • Point person for all communication regarding scheduling between production facility and corporate teams.
  • Participate in daily and weekly production meetings to verify plant approval of the schedule and manage deviations from that schedule.
  • Manage 2-person team to ensure completion of the following essential tasks:
    • Count repack; adjust in SAP, check allocation.
    • Cycle count slab inventory/batches and correct discrepancies in SAP.
    • Cycle count piece/wrapped pieces and correct discrepancies in SAP
    • Verify all past due orders are completed or dates moved to fit new plan.
    • All unplanned changes in the production schedule are immediately vetted for feasibility and SAP system adjusted to match changes.
  • Assist in SAP and master data configuration to ensure accurate information.


Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years related experience and/or training in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
  • MS Office Software, to include Excel, Word and PowerPoint as well as general database knowledge.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Flexible to work scheduled shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree
  • 2 or more years working in an SAP environment to help align the system with our industry.
  • Experience in a food industry manufacturing environment
  • Analytical thinker who backs decisions with data.
