Description
Lindt & Sprüngli North America is partnering with the other Lindt Business Units in the region to realize a complex business transformation program which has impacts on the organization and on the technologies used by the business. The implementation of a new ERP system based on SAP S/4 technology is one of the key steps in the program. In this context, the IT Program and Project Manager will be responsible to manage the project activities (project management) as well as ensuring consistency between the decisions made and the solutions designed/implemented in the different streams of the overall program (program management).
This role will require very “hands-on” involvement in the project management activities as well as the ability to steer the overall program in line with the strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate has strong leadership and communication skills, has experience with similar programs and projects, has strong understanding of SAP ERP solutions (ideally S/4) by functional and technical perspective.

Once the new ERP system is in place, the IT Program and Project Manager will move on to the delivery of the other components of the program which are already known and will start working on identifying new components to be planned and delivered. The ideal candidate for the role will relocate to the locations where the projects take place.

Program Management Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the overall program to implement the new SAP ERP system and other connected applications in the North America region.
  • Work closely with project sponsors, the project lead, cross-functional teams, and external consultants to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for the initiatives of the program.
  • Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached.
  • Balance the requirements of the single business units with the end-goal of having one SAP system working across all of them.
  • Further develop the program once the main implementation projects are completed.

Project Management Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities of the project, including managing tasks, status, and owning the budget for the entire project.
  • Create, maintain and monitor the project plan, schedule, and budget ensuring that deliverables and milestones are met and that the project is completed on time and on budget.
  • Report the project/program status to senior management and to the Steering Committee.
  • Identify, analyze and respond to project’s risks.
  • Play a very significant role in the requirements analysis and in the definition of the solution by a technical and business processes perspective.
  • Support the change management activities involved in the projects.
