Lindt & Sprüngli (North America) Inc. is seeking an SAP Enterprise Architect with knowledge of and experience solving the myriad of technology problems inherent in enterprise SAP transformation programs. In this role, the Enterprise Architect works with stakeholders from various internal groups to build an all-inclusive view of the organization's strategy, processes, information, and information technology applications.
The Enterprise Architect links the business mission, strategy, and processes of the organization to our IT strategy and develops architectural models which show how the current and future needs of an organization will be met in an innovative, sustainable, and agile manner. The Enterprise Architect will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our business environment and achieve business results.
  • Act as subject matter expert and assist management in the performance of special assignments and projects in support of tactical & strategic planning efforts
  • Must be capable of both a “wide-angle-lens” related to enterprise problems as well as the ability to dive into the details associated with problem-solving in specific areas
  • Design solutions which meet immediate business needs and are also scalable in future
  • Be very knowledgeable about various design patterns in enterprise architecture
  • Showcase best practices in integrating different applications and components
  • Understand the details and business impact of technology delivery
  • Provide domain expertise in establishing and maintaining the “as is” and “to be” Enterprise architecture
  • Analyze the current business and IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
  • Have high appreciation for and knowledge of software development life cycle and related processes
  • Produce variety of business documents that demonstrate command of language, clarity of thought and orderliness of presentation
  • Should be hands-on and keen on getting to design and code levels to solve complex issues when development team need help and support
  • Build employee knowledge and skills in specific areas of expertise
  • Advise and mentor team on technical solution matters
  • Ability to explain abstract and complex solution matters to LSNA Leadership team


Basic Qualifications
  • A strong, hands-on, background in application integration, solution development, performance management, or SAP landscape/basis design on hyperscale platforms would be the best preparation
  • Must be able to quickly grasp the application’s overarching design and ensure development is executed in accordance with present design
  • Strong interpersonal skills including collaboration, leadership, facilitation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and experience in taking proof of concepts to technical design to enterprise grade rollout
  • Effectively interface with all levels of an organization – both business and technical
  • Requires advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications, infrastructure, systems design and integration
  • Has thorough knowledge of the system components and interfaces being integrated, testing procedures, and configuration issues
  • Broad cross-functional and technical skills in SAP ecosystem
  • Ensure communication between teams and focus on holistic solution
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 15+ years of hands-on experience in design, development, and architecting solutions. Prefer candidate who has come up from the ranks of Software Developer to Enterprise Architect level
  • At least 5 years of experience in SAP enterprise architecture
  • At least 5 years of experience in multiple SAP modules/process areas
  • At least 5 years of experience in SAP integration
  • At least 3 years of experience in SAP on cloud
